My eighteenth Blog why Deep Blue

In late 2014 early 2015 I was still looking for help with issues of pain and swelling from being assaulted in 2001. I was still suffering from headaches, neck and shoulder pain that was no longer debilitating but constantly present.

In blog number One, I talk about how Peppermint changed my life. After such an amazing experience with Peppermint essential oil, I wanted to continue to experiment and try other essential oils. Deep Blue also known as the soothing blend seemed like the next natural solution to try as the blend contains Peppermint.

Deep Blue smells amazing. It is minty with peppermint and wintergreen in it. I love the smell. The feeling when you have it smoothed on your skin is fun. It tingles with a coolness that after being out walking or standing for long hours on concrete feels amazing on the bottom on my feet.

One of the other concerns I had with pain was my knees. I love to garden and kneeling in and beside flower beds for long periods of times takes its' toll. Deep blue, amazingly soothing on the knees makes movement a lot easier. Putting it on before I start to garden helps to keep me flexible longer. I did have knee surgery a few years back and Deep Blue keeps my knees happy.

Deep Blue is one of the top 10 essential oils or blends. It does come in a cream form called a Rub. I am not as fond of the rub, but the Deep Blue Rub is a favorite of my mothers. Mom has chronic issues with knee pain and she loves it.

So you may be wondering what other oils are in the blend. Deep Blue contains Wintergreen, Camphor, Peppermint, Ylang Ylang, Helichrysum, Blue Tansy, German Chamomile, and Osmanthus. Each on their own have great attributes. When put together they become a powerhouse to support both muscles and joints.

Another way to use Deep Blue is gently massaged into the back. It is also wonderful rubbed onto fingers or hands after doing detailed work. After a long workday applied to the neck and shoulder area helps to work out the kinks. One of my friends dilutes Deep Blue and uses on her kids legs when they have growing pains.

Whichever way you use Deep Blue, it is a worthy addition to your collection of natural solutions. Oh I almost forgot to mention, the oil smells great in the diffuser as well.
