Lemon is one of the best cleaning essential oils. I love it.
A while ago I had the opportunity to purchase an amazing little blue dress from the artist that designed it but it had something stuck to to fabric and it was a one-of-a-kind. I purchased it at a big discount as I pointed it out to her. I then put a couple drops of Lemon essential oil on it and after a few minutes of gentle but persistence with my fingernail success! The dress was perfect.
Ok what does that have to do with the kitchen? Nothing but it does have to do with the Lemon essential oils uses. It's versatility and effectiveness.
I was cooking in the oven today and as I was putting a meatloaf into the oven, I noticed a spill on the door edge. I have no idea how long it was there and it did not want to come off.
So guess what I did. You got it!
I used lemon essential oil on it. Here are the before and after pictures.
I started by putting two drops on the door edge and started to rub but they ran down the door... lol. Once I started using Lemon oil dropped onto a damp paper towel ( I knew where the essential oil was) the stuck on mess rubbed off easy. The door edge began to shine. Check out the video.
Grease on your stove top? You can get rid of it just a quickly using Lemon essential oil.
You can put water and lemon essential oil into a glass spray bottle. This will maximize your cleaning power and keep your cleaning cost effective.
