Tea Tree clean

Tea Tree: Probably one of the most used and still underappreciated essential oils.  Not one of my favorite smells, but I do like what Tea Tree essential oil does for my skin and hair.

In Canada Tea Tree is registered as a Natural Health Product. Tea Tree is used in Aromatherapy to help relieve colds and cough. So using it in the diffuser during the fall or when large groups of people gather, is a great idea.

Tea Tree is a refreshing clean aroma and loved by many. I love adding Lime essential oil with it for an uplifting aroma, and using it for removing a musty smell. Other essential oils that blend well with Tea Tree are Cypress, Lavender, Litsea, Siberian Fir and Thyme. Get creative and make your own favorite blend. Adding Tea Tree to shampoo will help invigorate your scalp and cleanse your hair. You can add Peppermint or Spearmint with it as well.

Tea Tree is truly limitless, in applications for skin care, hair care, oral care and body care.

Use Tea Tree on your cuticles to promote nourished, healthy looking nail beds.

You can also soothe and comfort dry, cracked skin by adding Tea Tree to your moisturizer. After a shower is a good time to do this for best effect.

You can use Tea Tree added to an oral rinse to freshen your breath. Use just 1-2 drops in water and swish around your mouth for a minute and spit out.

Tea Tree is also used in aromatherapy to help relieve colds and cough. This claim is approved by Health Canada.

There are so many uses for Tea Tree. It is truly one you need to have in your home.
